Oklahoma Public Employees Retirement System, Oklahoma City, is reviewing responses in its search for an active domestic small-cap growth equity manager to run $35 million. Proposals were due March 3. Lackluster performance by existing small-cap manager Loomis Sayles sparked the search, said Kirk Stebbins, CIO of the $4.2 billion system. "We have been disappointed with the performance of our existing manager and wanted to use this as an opportunity to evaluate and compare them with other managers, he said. A selection is expected by the end of May.
Chris Lazzaro, spokesman for Loomis Sayles, said the company has no comment.
