Norwalk (Conn.) Employees Pension System named TimesSquare Capital, Westfield Capital and LSV Asset as finalists in its search for a manager to run $9.5 million in active domestic small-cap to midcap value equities, said Frederic J. Gilden, comptroller. The $240 million pension plan will make a selection in the next few months, he said.
Separately, plan officials are contacting a shortlist of managers about an active emerging markets equity portfolio of undetermined size and about a potential $18 million active international value equities portfolio, Mr. Gilden said. Further information was not available.
The plans target asset allocation is 32% domestic equity, 25% domestic fixed income, 15% international equity, 12% hedge funds, 10% private equity, 5% emerging markets equity and 1% cash.
