San Francisco City & County Retirement System will vote tomorrow on issuing an RFP for one or more managers to run $200 million in active domestic large-cap value equities. If approved, the RFP would be issued by mid-March; responses would be due April 25, said Clare Murphy, executive director. The new manager would replace J.P. Morgan Fleming, which ran a $310 million portfolio in the same style but was terminated for performance. Some of that money was reallocated as part of the asset allocation the $9.8 billion pension fund adopted last summer. Angeles is the consultant.
