Michael Kiley, managing director, was named head of the global intermediary and non-proprietaryclient group by Morgan Stanley Investment Management, New York. He had been head of the U.S. intermediary client group. He assumed the additional global duties following the retirement of Richard F. Powers, president of the client group. Also, Jeff Margolis, managing director, now heads MSIM's global institutional client group. He had headed the U.S. client group. Mr. Margolis' additional global marketing responsibilities also were part of Mr. Powers' job.
Robert Meyer, managing director, now is chief risk management officer for MSIM, a new position. He had been an advisory director for investment management at Morgan Stanley.
Also, Leah Modigliani moved to the investment management side of Morgan Stanley as an executive director, joining the core U.S. growth equity team. She will develop an enhanced equity index strategies, said Mr. Gallaway.Ms. Modigliani was a U.S. investment strategist in Morgan Stanley's equity research department and was a member of the stock selection team.
