Oklahoma Teachers’ Retirement System, Oklahoma City, transferred an $800 million S&P 500 index fund to Northern Trust Global Investments, said Bill Puckett, CIO. Northern Trust Corp. announced in September that it would buy the passive management business of Deutsche Bank, which ran the investment for the $5 billion system. Deutsche had been on the system’s watch list, and Mr. Puckett said NTGI also will be on the list.
