University of Hawaii, Honolulu, is conducting an asset allocation study and manager review of its $48 million endowment, said Wick Sloane, CFO. The studies, last done several years ago, will be completed in April, he said. The funds managers are Bank of Hawaii, First Hawaiian Bank, Brandes Investment Partners and Jurika & Voyles, all running balanced portfolios, he added. Wachovia Securities and Cambridge Associates, both consultants to the endowment, will advise.
