Financial Accounting Standards Board established an advisory council of 35 professionals, representing a variety of investment and analytical disciplines, to assist FASB in understanding how investment professionals, equity and credit analysts use financial information. The councils first meeting, on Feb. 13 in New York, will cover a range of issues including pension accounting. The meeting is open to the public.
