Drury University, Springfield, Mo., will decide next week whether to terminate State Street Research, which runs $5 million in active domestic large-cap growth equities for the $65 million endowment, said Raymond E. Worley, vice president for administration. Fund officials are concerned about personnel changes at SSR and performance. If SSR is terminated, Prime Buchholtz, the plans consultant, will present a shortlist of managers to handle the portfolio in a similar style, he said.
The endowments asset allocation is 70% equity and 30% fixed income.
Alyson Riley, spokeswoman for State Street Research, declined comment.
