Allegheny County Retirement Board, Pittsburgh, is interviewing managers to run real estate, hedge funds, high-yield bonds, private equity and active domestic large-cap growth and core equities for the $760 million pension fund, said Cheryl Bateman, executive director.
Trustees are expected to make selections at the plans Feb. 13 board meeting.
The exact allocations have not been determined. Funding will come from reducing an equity index fund run by SSgA and from reducing the amounts handled by other managers; additional details were not available. Yanni Partners is assisting.
