Jacques Jiha was named deputy comptroller to oversee the $100 billion New York State Common Retirement Fund, Albany. Mr. Jiha, who was deputy comptroller for audits and finance at the Nassau County comptrollers office, replaces John Hull, who left last year to become financial vice president of the $4 billion Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, New York.
In addition, David Loglisci was named head of private equity for the state common fund, replacing Paula Chester, who resigned. Mr. Loglisci was a vice president at Salomon Smith Barneys investment banking unit. Ms. Chester could not be reached for comment.
