Fairfax City (Va.) Supplemental Retirement Plan named Batterymarch Financial Management, EARNEST Partners, Harris Investment Management and Rothschild Asset Management as finalists in its search for a domestic small-cap equity manager to run $8 million, according to David Hodgkins, city finance director. Funding will come from scaling back a domestic large-cap value equities portfolio run by Standish Mellon.
New England Pension Consultants is assisting the $80 million plan.
