Brockton (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System is searching for a hedge fund-of-funds manager to run $8.5 million, a new allocation for the $170 million system, said Harold Hanna, spokesman. Funding will come from cash and from reducing other portfolios, Mr. Hanna said. System executives will make a selection or decide against making the investment by June 30.
