Charles E. Haldeman Jr. was named senior managing director and co-head of investments at Putnam Investments, effective at the end of the month, said Laura McNamara, Putnam spokeswoman. Mr. Haldeman was president and CEO at Delaware Investments; he resigned effective this week.
Steve Oristaglio, deputy head of investments at Putnam, joins Mr. Haldeman as co-head of investments. They replace Tim Ferguson, who is now senior managing director and will oversee strategic initiatives, planning and development, technology and alternative investments.
At Delaware, Jude Driscoll, executive vice president and head of fixed income, was named interim CEO. Delaware and parent company Lincoln Financial Group have begun searching for a replacement, said Tom Gariepy, Delaware spokesman.
