Oklahoma Teachers Retirement System, Oklahoma City, sometime in the next two weeks will search for up to two managers to handle a total of $200 million in active international equities, said William Puckett, CIO. Proposals will be due Nov. 1, and the $5.5 billion system expects to make a decision by March.
The systems international equity allocation was raised in August to 17% of total assets from 13%, Mr. Puckett said. Funding will come from reducing fixed-income portfolios; no manager terminations are expected, he said.
