OAKS, Pa. - SEI Investments hired McKinley Capital Management to subadvise the SEI Large Cap Growth institutional and retail portfolios, replacing Duncan-Hurst. Duncan-Hurst was terminated because portfolio manager Dave Magee left the firm, said Nancy Kimelman, SEI chief economist.
Separately, SEI hired Metropolitan West Asset Management to subadvise the SEI Core Fixed Income portfolio, replacing Robert W. Baird & Co. Baird was terminated because SEI was looking for a more opportunistic and nimble management style, said Ms. Kimelman.
Alliance Capital was hired to subadvise the SEI Emerging Markets Equity portfolio, replacing Schroder Investment Management. Schroder was terminated because of organizational changes at the firm, said Ms. Kimelman.
Fischer Francis Trees & Watts will subadvise the SEI International Fixed Income portfolio, said Ms. Kimelman. Previous subadviser Strategic Fixed Income was terminated for performance, she said. The termination was due to a difference in point of view about the asset class, said Ken Windheim, spokesman for Strategic Fixed Income.
