Watkins Associated Industries Inc., Atlanta, hired The 401(k) Co. as record keeper and administrator of its $140 million 401(k) plan and $35 million profit-sharing plan, replacing Towers Perrin, said Philip D. Miller, administrator-defined contribution plans. Towers Perrin is leaving the record-keeping business. The number of investment options for the 401(k) plan remains at 10; the profit-sharing plan does not have investment options, he said. UBS PaineWebber is investment provider for the 401(k) plan, and Wellington Management is investment provider for the profit-sharing plan. The 401(k) plan is self-trusteed, and SunTrust is trustee for the profit-sharing plan.
