Akzo Nobel Inc., Chicago, is conducting an asset allocation study of its $450 million pension plan, said Nancy Dummer, manager of retirement benefits. The plan conducts a study every three years, she said; its current asset allocation is 60% equity and 40% fixed income. The review will be finished Sept. 19, she said. Towers Perrin is assisting.
