Ohio Public Employees Deferred Compensation Program, Columbus, added four Barclays Global Investors Life Path Portfolios, PIMCO Total Return Bond fund and Vanguard Capital Opportunity fund as new options in the $2.5 billion plan, said Virginia Shimrock, executive director. The program dropped the American Funds Bond Fund of America, and closed the Fidelity Government Income and PBHG Growth funds to new contributions, she said. The program offers 24 investment options.
Separately, the program soon will name a new stable value manager to its self-administered stable value option, said Ms. Shimrock. The plan now employs Nationwide Insurance, State Street Global Advisors and Deutsche Asset to manage a total of $2.5 billion in assets in the option. The new manager will run 15% of the portfolio, she said. The program is no longer accepting proposals.
