Ronald R. Dewhurst, managing director and head of J.P. Morgan Fleming Asset Management Americas, will leave the company to return to his native Australia after 15 years. Mr. Dewhurst is not immediately assuming another position in the money management business, said Alexandra Trower, a spokeswoman. He will remain a member of the investment management/private banking executive committee until the end of the year.
Paul Bateman, managing director and head of J.P. Morgan Fleming Asset Management in Europe, Asia and Japan, will become global CEO on Oct. 1, adding Mr. Dewhursts role in the Americas to his duties. Mr. Dewhurst will assist Mr. Batemans transition to the newly created global role, Ms. Trower said.
