North Fork Bank, Melville, N.Y., hired CIGNA as investment provider, record keeper and trustee for its $78 million 401(k) plan, said Kim Russell, pension administrator. CIGNA replaces Deutsche Asset; plan officials wanted a different selection of investment options, and CIGNA seemed better equipped to handle a larger plan, Ms. Russell said. The plan will have 15 investment options, up from 12, she said. Mercer Human Resources advised.
