Cambridgeshire County Council Pension Plan, Cambridge, England, is searching for a global equities manager to run £130 million ($198 million), said John Hopwood, council investment manager. The £876 million plan will accept proposals until Sept. 27, and a selection is expected by the end of the year, he said. Hymans Robertson is assisting.
Funding will come from a £250 million balanced portfolio run by J.P. Morgan Fleming Asset Management, which was terminated for performance, the council announced. The remaining £120 million will be divided among incumbent balanced managers Schroder Investment Management and Deutsche Asset Management, said Mr. Hopwood. Barbara Villa, a spokeswoman at J.P. Morgan Fleming, declined to comment.
