Alaska State Pension Investment Board, Juneau, hired Independent Fiduciary Services to conduct a fiduciary audit of its investment program, confirmed Betty Martin, comptroller. The audit will include an examination of the $11.1 billion systems methodology for asset allocation and rebalancing, as well as whether its investment policies are in keeping with its investment goals and risk tolerances. The audit also will examine the manner in which the board selects and monitors outside money managers.
