Aurora (Colo.) City General Employees Retirement Plan hired PIMCO to manage $20 million in active domestic core-plus fixed income, replacing Seneca Capital Management, said Thomas Connell, pension plan administrator. Seneca was terminated because of performance and personnel changes, Mr. Connell said. Officials at Seneca did not return calls seeking comment by press time.
The $190 million pension plans asset allocation is 40% domestic equity, 40% fixed income, 12% international equity and 8% real estate. Callan Associates advised.
