New Mexico Public Employees Retirement Association, Santa Fe, plans to issue RFPs in September for an active domestic small-cap value equity manager to run $600 million, said Robert Gish, investment director. The $9 billion fund is required by state law to rebid manager contracts every four years, he said. Current small-cap value managers Brandywine and Rothschild each manage $300 million, said Mr. Gish; both will be asked to rebid.
