New York City Retirement Funds will issue an RFP in July for high-yield bond managers to run a total of $4 billion, said spokeswoman Nicole Lise. The $84 billion systems current roster of high-yield managers is: Alliance Capital, with $682 million; Credit Suisse, $995 million; Loomis Sayles, $1.1 billion; T. Rowe Price, $203 million; and W.R. Huff, $1 billion. All the managers can rebid; the search is being conducted because their contracts are set to expire in June 2003. Ms. Lise said. The RFP will be available in July on the systems website, www.comptroller.nyc.gov, and proposals will be due about a month later. Further details were not available.
