Idaho Public Employee Retirement System, Boise, hired Capital Guardian Trust to manage $175 million in active global all-cap equities, said Robert M. Maynard, chief investment officer. The $6.5 billion pension plan funded the move by terminating Columbus Circle, which ran $200 million in active domestic small-cap equities, because of personnel changes. Mr. Maynard would not say where the remaining $25 million was placed. The plans current allocation is 41% domestic equity, 16% international equity, 13% global equity and 30% fixed income. R.V.
