Greenwich (Conn.) Town Retirement System may search this summer for a manager to oversee its new $7 million employees post-retirement health benefits fund, said Ed Gomeau, comptroller of the towns $300 million pension fund. The system may handle the search internally.
Greenwich also is selecting one or more investment managers for the pension fund, which is being handled by manager-of-managers Frank Russell; the firm rebid. USI Consulting will review the firms that responded to its RFP and interview finalists early in May, Mr. Gomeau said. Plan officials decided to do a search because there hasnt been one since 1984, when Russell was hired.
