Ursinus College, Collegeville, Pa., hired Metropolitan West Asset to manage $27 million in active domestic fixed income for its $95 million endowment, replacing Commonfund, said James E. Cooper, controller. The plan terminated Commonfund for performance, he said. Jud Koss, managing director of Commonfund, declined comment.
The funds asset allocation is 49% domestic equity, 15% international equity, 32% fixed income, 3% cash, 0.5% venture capital and 0.5% mortgages.
