Central Pension Fund of the International Union of Operating Engineers and Participating Employers, Washington, hired Bolton Offutt Donovan as actuary, said Michael Fanning, CEO of the $7 billion pension fund. It replaced Watson Wyatt Worldwide after Watson Wyatt asked its pension fund clients to limit the actuarys liability to one years fees or no more than $250,000. It also asked clients to indemnify the firm from damages over that amount when participants file lawsuits.
