St. Marys College, Notre Dame, Ind., terminated Victory Capital Management, which ran $5 million in active domestic fixed income for the $90 million endowment, said Keith D. Dennis, vice president for finance and administration. The termination was due to performance, he said. The money was added to an existing active domestic fixed-income portfolio managed by PIMCO, which now totals $9 million. The funds asset allocation is 50% domestic equity, 16% international equity, 30% domestic fixed income, 2% venture capital and 2% cash.
Ron Petrie, Victory spokesman, said there was a staff change which, the endowment felt, resulted in poorer performance.
