Ohio Public Employees Retirement System, Columbus, hired Townsend Group as its real estate consultant. The $54 billion system has $4.5 billion in real estate, and its target allocation is 9% of total assets, said Neil Toth, director of investments. Cooper Consultants assisted.
Separately, Jim Wright was named assistant investment officer-domestic equities, effective April 3. He will replace Dan Sarver, who will remain with the plan in an undetermined role. Mr. Wright was a private wealth portfolio manager at Banc One Investment Advisors.
