Victor L. Hymes, managing director and director of the institutional group in North America for Zurich Scudder Investments, is leaving the firm. He will not accept a position as head of the combined client service team for Deutsche Asset Management Americas’ private client asset management unit once the acquisition of Zurich Scudder is completed in April, according to a source with knowledge of the situation. Mr. Hymes’ plans were not known and he did not return a call by press time.
Richard Goldman, head of the institutional business of Deutsche Asset Management in the Americas, did not return a call by press time regarding the open position.
