DUBLIN - Irish National Pensions Reserve Fund, with e6.5 billion ($5.7 billion) in assets, hired Barclays Global Investors to run e1.1 billion in passive eurozone equities and e690 million in passive U.S. equities. The system also hired Bank of Ireland Asset Management/State Street Global Advisors to manage a passive e1.1 billion eurozone equity portfolio.
The appointments follow a public tendering process launched last July, said Deborah Reidy, head of investment manager selection for the system.
