Unilever PLC Superannuation Fund, London, hired Goldman Sachs Asset Management to run an active U.K. bond portfolio of an undisclosed size, according to Wendy Mayall, chief investment officer of the £4 billion ($5.6 billion) plan.
The appointment follows a decision to run the funds entire U.K. bond portfolio actively. It had been split between active and passive strategies, and managed by Schroders and Prudential M&G. Both managers will continue to run U.K. bond portfolios for the plan.
Ms. Mayall would not provide further details.
