Pennsylvania State Employees Retirement System, Harrisburg, will issue an RFP later this year for an investment consultant. Incumbent Cambridge Associates contract expires in January 2003, according to Sean Sanderson, a spokesman for the $24 billion fund. The search is required by state policy, he said. Cambridge may rebid.
The system also committed up to $40 million to J.W. Childs Equity Partners III and up to $26 million to Alpha Private Equity Fund IV.
