Electrical Workers-IBEW Local 292, St. Louis Park, Minn., will retain Independent Fiduciary Services as consultant for its $102 million pension plan, said Jody Roe-Hardie, plan administrator. The fund conducted a consultant search in September because its adviser, George Appleby, was leaving the firm.
Ms. Roe-Hardie also said the plan likely will begin an asset allocation study in late February and will finish by early May. The plan will review all asset classes and a change in investment managers is possible, she said. Its current asset allocation is 65% equity and 35% fixed income.
