Willamette University, Salem, Ore., named Metropolitan West Asset Management, PIMCO, Western Asset and Hoisington as finalists in its search for a manager to run $15 million to $40 million in active domestic fixed income, said Brian Hardin, vice president for financial affairs. Officials at the $202 million endowment will make a selection Feb. 21. Funding will come from reallocating assets among the funds current fixed-income managers, and no terminations are expected. The current allocation is 63% equity, 30% fixed income and 7% alternative. R.V. Kuhns & Associates is advising.
Mr. Hardin would not disclose the funds current managers.
