Karina Litvack will be named director of governance and socially responsible investment for Friends Ivory & Sime, following the surprise resignation of Craig Mackenzie. Howard Carter, CEO, said Mr. Mackenzie has not yet left the firm and his departure date is being negotiated. Mr. Carter would not comment on reports that Mr. Mackenzie will join HBOS, where Gary Mairs, former managing director-retail and institutional business development at FIS, was appointed managing director of asset management.
Messrs. Mackenzie and Mairs could not be reached for comment by press time.
Ms. Litvack was director of research, governance and socially responsible investment at the firm.
