Scott Powers, CEO at Old Mutual (U.S.) Holdings, was named CEO of Old Mutual Asset Managers. He replaces Kevin Carter, who is returning to the United Kingdom to pursue other interests, said an Old Mutual spokesman. Mr. Carter could not be reached for comment by press time.
Mr. Powers also was named chairman of the board at eSecLending, the securities lending joint venture between Old Mutual and the $152 billion California Public Employees Retirement System, Sacramento. He replaced George McClelland, Old Mutual (U.S.) Holdings senior vice president, as chairman; Mt. McClelland will remain a member of the board.
