Kevin J. Lanier, president of Capital Resource Advisors, left the consulting firm, confirmed Deirdre Halloran, spokeswoman. Ms. Halloran declined to discuss the reason for his departure or his future plans but said he might not remain in the consulting industry. Ms. Halloran said there has been a "shift of power and a reorganization at CRA. John Dickson, hired as CEO of CRAs pension consulting group in May from William M. Mercer, now has oversight of CRAs entire pension consulting business. Mr. Dickson reported to Mr. Lanier. The position of president will not be filled, Ms. Halloran said.
CRA staff members, who declined to be identified, expressed surprise at Mr. Laniers abrupt departure on Sept. 1 and could not offer an explanation.
