SAN FRANCISCO - Jennison Associates, PIMCO, Charles Schwab, Turner Investment Partners and Wells Capital Management were named the money management industry's best-performing companies and won the first annual Competitive Challenges Achievement Awards. The awards, sponsored by Capital Resource Advisors, were made at CRA's client conference in San Francisco this week.
The companies were scored using CRA's proprietary analytical product, SCOREcard, which compares more than 100 different performance metrics in such critical areas as asset growth, revenue and expense growth, fee realizations, assets per account, revenue and assets per employee, and client satisfaction assessment methods.
Winners received superior scores in areas such as business growth, profitability and productivity, technology, customer segmentation, employee satisfaction and management expertise. The five winners were selected from a field of 67 peer companies that manage a total of more than $6.1 trillion.
