S & C Electric Co., Chicago, added the Vanguard Growth Equity, Life Strategies Income, Conservative Growth, Moderate Growth and Growth funds as options for its $75 million 401(k) plan, said Michael Moses, financial services director. Vanguard is the bundled provider, offering 10 investment options.
S & C Electric also will offer a loan provision, said Mr. Moses, explaining that the board thinks participants should have access to their money if they absolutely need it, he said.
