Michael J. Mahoney was named managing director and senior portfolio manager on the EGM Capital Communications and Technology Strategy, said Daphne Jackson, spokeswoman. He replaces Gus Richards, who resigned for family reasons. Mr. Mahoney co-manages the fund with David L. Sherry. Mr. Mahoney was co-founder and chief strategy officer of Interwoven, a software company; and before that, he was senior analyst, portfolio manager and director of the tele-media group at Dresdner RCM Global Investors
Also, Elizabeth A. Pearce was named co-manager of the EGM Core Emerging Growth Fund, joining Guy Scott, CEO. She replaces Anthony Stohl, who is focusing on research and new fund development. Ms. Pearce was senior fund manager for the HighMark Capital Small Cap Value Fund.
John P. Rohal was named vice chairman of the board of directors and chairman of the EGM portfolio strategy committee, a new position.
