Charlottesville (Va.) Retirement Fund is searching for a manager to run $7.6 million in active domestic large-cap growth equities. The $63 million pension plan will fund the portfolio from a $7.6 million temporary S&P 500 index fund managed by State Street Global Advisors, said Jennifer Brown, city treasurer. A date for selection has not been set.
