San Francisco City & County Employees Retirement System is searching for an alternative asset consultant. Responses to the RFP are due by Oct. 15, and a selection is expected to be made at the boards Nov. 27 meeting, said Dick Piket, acting chief investment officer. The $11 billion fund has $1.4 billion invested in alternatives. The contract has not been rebid in six or seven years; incumbent Cambridge Associates will be invited to bid.
Separately, the fund committed $20 million to the Duke Street Capital V, an international buyout fund.
