Quorum Health Group, Nashville, Tenn., was acquired by Triad Health, Dallas, and the firms 401(k) plans, totaling $620 million, will be merged Jan. 1, said Gayle Roman, director of benefits at Triad.
Quorums $260 million plan is managed internally and offers seven investment options. Wells Fargo is record keeper and SunTrust is trustee.
Triad Healths $360 million plan also is managed internally and offers 10 investment options. Hewitt Associates is record keeper and Northern Trust is trustee. The merged plans will retain Triads options, record keeper and trustee, said Steve Fallon, benefits manager at Triad. U.S. Bancorp selected ExpertPlan to provide private-label web-based 401(k) services that will be offered through U.S. Bancorps banking and retail brokerage subsidiaries, U.S. Bank and U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray.
