Srinivas Pulavarti was named director of investments at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, effective Aug. 20. He will assist William E. Snow Jr., treasurer, with management and administration of the $1.83 billion endowment. In addition to the endowment, the treasurers office oversees another $800 million in working capital and other assets.
Mr. Pulavarti was manager of investments and a portfolio manager at the $38 billion Lockheed Martin Investment Management Co., where he has not yet been replaced.
Jeffrey MacLean was promoted to president and COO at consultant Wurts Associates; and Richard Wyman was named senior vice president and CFO, a new position. Mr. MacLean replaces William Wurts, who will remain chairman and CEO.
Both were principals and senior consultants. Mr. Wyman was the firms first employee when it was founded in 1986.
