Doane Pet Care Co., Brentwood, Tenn., is searching for its first consultant, said Donna Vaughn, manager-employee benefits. After a review of the company’s $25 million defined benefit plan and $22 million 401(k) plan, manager searches may be conducted next year, she said. The moves are being made because Doane is forming a pension committee, Ms. Vaughn said.
