Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York, made three new private equity commitments, said Michael Gutnick, chief investment officer at the $2 billion endowment. The commitments are: HarbourVest International IV, an international fund of funds; J.P. Morgan Chase Capital Partners, a private equity/venture cap fund of funds; and Blackstone Capital Partners IV, a private equity fund. Mr. Gutnick declined to specify the amounts of the commitments but said funding will come from cash.
He also said the endowment will invest only with existing partnerships for the rest of the year.
