Kentucky Judicial Retirement System, Frankfort, hired 1838 Investment Advisors to manage $24 million in a balanced portfolio for the $200 million pension plan, said Donna Stockton-Early, executive director. And the Kentucky Legislators Retirement System, also in Frankfort, hired 1838 Investment to manage $6 million in a balanced portfolio for the $50 million pension plan, she said.
Funding for both hires will come from selling SPDR funds; the changes were made for better performance, she said.
